Anosh Koppiker on the Spirit of Kanha Tiger Reserve

Kanha, to me, is the embodiment of scale and silence. The sal trees here can grow over 30 meters tall, creating cathedral-like canopies that leave you humbled. These are what I call the “Winter Forests of India”—still, stoic, and incredibly alive. Here, the tiger doesn’t need to announce its presence; it could be walking just meters away, hidden in plain sight. There’s a spiritual quality to Kanha. It's a place where nature reminds you just how small—and lucky—you are.
